About Us
Hello!
Welcome to Kerala Pentecostal Church Toronto
We warmly welcome you to Kerala Pentecostal Church, Toronto (KPC Toronto). Our prayer is that the Lord will bless you as we share with you the good things He is doing among us.
Introduction
In February 1995 after getting the charitable registration, Maranatha Full Gospel Church Toronto officially started its first service in Toronto. In its humble beginning, there were less than 10 members. MFGC Toronto started with a clear vision of raising up a generation who are separated for the Lord and worship Him in spirit and truth.
Pastor Clement Varghese and his family joined the church in February 1995. Since then, Pastor Clement Varghese and Pastor Samuel Mathen worked tirelessly for the Kingdom of God in Toronto to bring many to Christ Jesus. Pastor Clement Varghese was with the church until he was transferred to Houston in 2007.
Initially, believers worshiped the Lord in various houses and rental facilities. But in 2005 God blessed the church with it’s own facility in North York. In 2006, a new facility on 750 Oakdale Rd was dedicated for the glory of God. Both Pastor Samuel Mathen and Pastor Clement Varghese were ordained in November 2006 as Maranatha Full Gospel Church ministers.
In 2011 April, Rev. Dr. Manoj Thomas and his family joined the church. Rev. Dr. Pastor Manoj Thomas served the church as an associate pastor until he left in September 2018. The church’s name was changed to Kerala Pentecostal Church Toronto in 2013.
At KPC Toronto, we believe that God has a destiny for every person: a great and wonderful purpose for you to fulfill in your life. It begins with getting to know God through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Once your life is safely in His hands, you can discover that purpose and begin to bring it to fulfillment through His strength and power. In our increasing humanistic society, most people have lost a sense of destiny. You were created by God, you didn’t evolve. You were created with a plan. Fulfilling your destiny begins with knowing God’s plan for your life. God has a purpose for your life. He has a destiny for you to fulfill, but Satan wants to steal and destroy that plan.
If you are moving to or are living in the Greater Toronto Area (Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto) and are seeking a Malayali Pentecostal Church for fellowship and worship, kindly visit us.
Our conviction, as well as all those who follow the New Testament example, is that the Holy Spirit makes a difference in our lives. This is what enables our Christian faith to be practical, relevant, and lively. We pray that the Holy Spirit will touch your life and refresh you in your knowledge and experience of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision
Our vision at Kerala Pentecostal Church Toronto includes many things. George Washington Carver once said, “Where there is no vision, there is no hope,” and we at Kerala Pentecostal Church Toronto have both vision and hope. In fact, our vision is to share our hope. We wish to reach out to the hopeless and lost, and tell them the good news of Jesus and how He alone can give them something to hope for. Our vision includes reaching those who have been hurt. Those who have been affected through the many trials of this world and left feeling alone. We wish to show them that there is someone who understands and loves them. To share the love of Christ to those who desperately need it.
We strive to be a church that can build up leaders. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we hope to strengthen our members in their faith. As spiritual leaders and devout followers of God, we can better know how to reach those calling to Him. We desire to grow in numbers and in Him so that we can influence a greater sphere of people. As a body, fully devoted to Him, we can be used by Him to touch others.
We understand that God can take normal, everyday people and use them mightily. Our vision is that God will take our members and use them in amazing ways to lead people to His Kingdom and help others. God’s powers in our lives such as through miracles, showing His love, and giving us words to speak to others, should be used to help those in need of Him. We don’t wish to be a church that feeds ourselves only, but we desire to let the Spirit use us to feed others hungry for Him: to be servants for Him by serving others.
At Kerala Pentecostal Church Toronto we wish to let the light of Jesus shine through us. As the light of the world, God’s children’s lives should be a testimony in itself of the love of Jesus in our lives. We strive to be that light in the darkness that can help lead people home to Him. Essentially, our vision is to be open and used by God to be a light in this dark world to bring joy and an everlasting relationship into peoples’ lives that will change them forever!
